Mexican infielder Luis Urias will play the 2024 MLB season for the Seattle Mariners following a commerce with the Boston Purple Sox for pitcher Isaiah Campbell, ESPN reported.
Urias, who has the power to play second base, shortstop and third base, performed 52 video games final season for Boston and Milwaukee in an injury-plagued 12 months.
Urias sat out the primary two months of the 2023 season due to a hamstring harm with the Milwaukee Brewers, and was traded to the Purple Sox on the deadline. He took half in 32 video games for the Purple Sox, with whom he performed via the top of the common season.

A 26-year-old native of Magdalena de Kino within the Mexican state of Sonora, Urias hit a career-low .194 between Milwaukee and Boston, with three dwelling runs and 18 RBIs.
Luis is the youthful brother of Ramon Urias (29), who performs third base for the Baltimore Orioles.
