Romelu Lukaku scores both goals in a win for Jose Mourinho’s struggling Roma side that defeats Frosinone 2-0

Romelu Lukaku scored one of Roma’s goals in their 2-0 victory over Frosinone on Sunday, which helped the team earn their second win of the Serie A season.

After capitalizing on a deft through ball sent by Paulo Dybala just before halftime, the 30-year-old striker scored his third goal for Roma in the league’s last five games.

Additionally, Dybala was responsible for Lorenzo Pellegrini’s volleyed second goal.

“It’s an important win with lots of hard work and efficiency in front of goal,” remarked Lukaku after the match.

After recovering from an embarassing loss to Genoa by the score of 4-1 during the previous week, Jose Mourinho’s struggling side moved up to 12th place with eight points after playing seven matches.

Lukaku, who is from Belgium and currently plays for Chelsea on loan in Italy, said, “We’re in a difficult situation, but the season is still long.” Lukaku returned to Italy after spending time there previously. It is imperative that we continue to play in the same manner.

Mourinho stated on Saturday that he was not concerned about his own future, despite having presided over the most difficult beginning to his coaching career.
